Founded September 1985, a member of the Red Wolf District of the Sam Houston Area Council.

Our Troop for Boy Members can be described as being a fun, Scout Led Troop with a strong First Class Emphasis curriculum.

Troop 277's mission is to provide a Youth Led Outdoor Program with an emphasis on challenging adventures and fun experiences.

Through these experiences our youth will be building character, self-sufficiency, and leadership skills grounded on the principles of the Scout Oath, Scout Law and Duty to God.
